West Valley Fault

For those living near the areas of Mayon Volcano in Albay and Kanlaon Volcano in Negros, please be reminded that both are still on Alert Level 2. Three (3) volcanic earthquakes were monitored near Mayon volcano while two (2) were recorded from Kanlaon area in the last 24 hours by PHILVOLCS.

The alert level indicates that any sudden explosion can occur anytime.
