West Valley Fault

A magnitude 5.5 earthquake hit 27 kilometers off Cagayan at 4:34 pm yesterday. It’s intensity was felt all the way up to the Ilocos Region.

No damages were reported but residents were advised of possible aftershocks.

” The quakes were recorded in the areas of Isabela, Zambales, Surigao del Norte, Cagayan, Sultan Kudarat, Southern Leyte, Davao Oriental, Eastern Samar and Davao Occidental.”
