A magnitude 4.6 earthquake was also recorded just this morning at around 7:48 near the town of Cortes in Surigao del Sur. It has a depth of 13 kilometers and epicenter was 18 km East of Cortes according to Philvolcs.
The tremor has also been recorded by the United States Geological Survey or USGS.
No media reports were issued.
