Yesterday at 9:22 pm, a magnitude 5.9 quake was reported in the area of Bukidnon. It struck 9 kilometers northwest of Kadingilan municipality with a depth of 9 kilometers.
The tremor was felt in Kadingilan, Dumulog, Kalilangan, Talakag, and Valencia City, Bukidnon; and the cities of Kidapawan and Marawi.
Several buildings were damaged including the municipal hall and Sangguniang Bayan building of Kadingilan town. There were reports that 3 persons were sent to the hospital while one sustained a head injury.
Town folks were camped outside of their homes for fear of aftershocks.
