At 2:39 this afternoon, a magnitude 4.8 earthquake struck 44 kilometers off Governor Generoso town. It has a depth of 75 kilometers and is determined to be tectonic in origin.
The report came from Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) and stated that there were no damages reported and no aftershocks are to be expected.
