A magnitude 5 earthquake was reported in the province of Catanduanes early this Friday morning. The quake hit at around 4:08 a.m., 73 kilometers north of Pandan town in Catanduanes.

According to Phivolcs the tremor occurred at a depth of 3 kilometers and is tectonic in origin.

The tremor was felt all the way to Iriga City, Bula and Pili at Camarines Sur. Tremor were also felt in Paracale, and Jose Panganiban in Camarines Norte up to Mauban in Quezon.

No damage were reported and no aftershocks were expected.
