A magnitude 4.6 earthquake occurred this afternoon at 12:52 p.m. in the province of Oriental Mindoro. The quake which was tectonic in origin was traced to be 4 kilometers southwest of Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.

It has a depth of 126 kilometers and registered the following instrumental intensities:

  • Intensity III
    • Puerto Galera, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro
  • Intensity II
    • Calatagan, Batangas
  • Intensity I
    • San Jose, Occidental Mindoro
    • Roxas, Oriental Mindoro

No damage were reported and no aftershocks are expected.
