A magnitude 5.1 earthquake was reported early this morning near Jose Abad Santos in Davao Occidental.
The quake hit at 4:08 a.m. with a depth of 102 kilometers and has been deemed tectonic in origin by Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
There has been no report of damage nor will there be any aftershocks to be expected.
