Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) recorded a magnitude 5.4 earthquake this Sunday morning at 10:22 a.m.

The tremor has been determined to be tectonic in origin and struck 388 kilometers Southeast of Balut Island in the municipality of Sarangani in Davao Occidental.

It has a depth of 64 kilometers.

Phivolcs warned of aftershocks though it stated that there was no damages that has been reported.
