West Valley Fault

Early this morning of Saturday a magnitude 5.4 earthquake was reported in the province of Davao Oriental.

The tremor struck Baganga town in the said province at 4:43 p.m. with a depth of 119 kilometers.

It was tectonic in origin and has been felt at Intensity III in the city of Bislig in the province of Surigao del Sur.

No damages has been recorded bu PHIVOLCS warned of possible aftershocks.
