A magnitude 5 earthquake occurred today in Zambales. The quake reportedly occurred at 8:17 in the morning 169 kilometers northwest of the municipality of Palauig in the said province.
It has a depth of 22 kilometers and is tectonic in origin according to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
No damage were reported but Phivolcs there might be some aftershocks.
