A magnitude 5.2 earthquake rocked Davao Occidental this Tuesday afternoon according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

The quake occurred at around 4:34 p.m. with its epicenter found to be some 53 kilometers southeast of Don Marcelino town.

It had a depth of focus of 53 kilometers and was determined to be tectonic in origin.

Phivolcs warned of possible aftershocks but stated that no damage were reported.
