A sudden tremor jolted parts of Metro Manila just this afternoon around 5 pm. Staff from West Valley Fault blog site felt the earthquake in Marikina City with news reaching them that the quake was also felt in Antipolo.
Origin wasn’t clear earlier but just recently USGS National Earthquake Information Center pinpointed the epicenter at one kilometer off of Floridablanca, Pampanga with a magnitude of 6.3 while PHILVOLCS states epicenter was at Castillejos, Zambales and intensity at 6.1.
It is not yet clear whether there will be aftershocks but everyone is warned to be on the alert.
