Just this morning, a magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck 36 kilometers west of Limasawa, Southern Leyte. The quake was registered off the waters of Bohol Sea according to Philippine Institute for Volcanology and Seismology or PHILVOLCS.
intensity 3 was felt in Cebu City, Mambajao and Camiguin and intensity 2 in Palo, Leyte. It was also felt in Bogo City, Lapu-Lapu City, Argao City, Tagbilaran City, Ormoc City and as far as Cagayan De Oro City.
