5.6 Earthquake Jolts Mindanao

A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck North Cotabato yesterday night. This caused panic in some areas that felt the tremor.

Epicenter was found to be at Makilala, North Cotabato. The tremor was felt in Kidapawan City and the cities of Davao, Koronadal, Cagayan de Oro, and Cotabato. Aftershocks are to be expected according to PHILVOLCS.
