A magnitude 5.4 tremor has just been reported today in Surigao del Sur at 8:23 in the morning.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) the quake struck 77 kilometers southeast of Cagwait in the said province with a depth of focus of 15 kilometers.

No damage was reported, and no aftershocks are expected.
