A magnitude 5 earthquake struck the province of Zambales with the epicenter pinpointed at 125 kilometers southwest of the town of San Antonio. The quake struck at 6:00 this morning of March 13.

According to Phivolcs the tremor was tectonic in origin with a dept of 27 kilometers. They also warned of possible aftershocks but did not expect any damage.
