Just a while ago at 2:49 in the afternoon, a magnitude 4.6 earthquake was reported in the province of Zambales. This was reported by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) which stated that it was tectonic in origin.

The epicenter was determined to be 30 kilometers southwest of San Felipe, Zambales. The quake was also felt in Olongapo City and in Guagua, Pampanga.

No damages and aftershocks are expected.
