1:10 a.m Leyte, Leyte

A magnitude 4.3 hit the island of Leyte early this morning at 1:10 a.m. It has a depth of 13 kilometers and was located 1 kilometer southeast of Leyte.

6:58 a.m. Sabangan, Mountain Province

A magnitude 4.1 earthquake was reported also early this morning Wednesday in Mountain Province. The quake struck 9 kilometers southeast of Sabangan town with a depth of 16 kilometers.

The tremor was felt by the residents at 6:58 a.m.

8:28 a.m. Patnongon, Antique

Right after this a magnitude 4.6 earthquake struck in Patnongon, Antique at 8:28 a.m. According to Phivolcs the epicenter was located 44 kilometers northwest of Patnongon.

It was tectonic in origin with a depth of 34 kilometers. The shock wave was felt all the way to Capiz.

9:30 a.m. Bayabas, Surigao del Sur

Another earthquake registered also this morning in Surigao del Sur. It has a magnitude of 4.5 and struck 12 kilometers southwest of Bayabas in Surigao del Sur. It’s tectonic and had a depth of 4 kilometers.

A litany of smaller quakes were also recorded by Phivolcs yesterday and even between the above events.

No damages were reported and no aftershocks were expected.
