A new earthquake rocked the province of Davao anew with a magnitude 4.0 tremor this Wednesday morning. The quake struck at 11:43 a.m. 38 kilometers southeast of the town of Governor Generoso in Davao Oriental.

It had a depth of 118 kilometers and is tectonic in origin.

No damages were reported and no aftershocks were expected according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology or Phivolcs.
