QUEZON CITY — The University of the Philippines Diliman will conduct an earthquake and landslide response orientation for students on Monday, September 14.
The activity, titled “NSRC SANAY 2: Earthquake & Landslide Search and Resource Orientation Course,” will run from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Seminar Room B of the UP Diliman National Engineering Center.
UP Diliman students are invited to participate, with members of the university’s National Service Reserve Corps particularly encouraged to attend.
The orientation is organized by the National Service Reserve Corps under the UP Diliman National Service Training Program Office. It forms part of the university’s efforts to develop students’ knowledge and readiness for emergencies involving earthquakes and landslides.
The initiative goes beyond basic evacuation drills by involving students who may support organized preparedness and emergency-response activities within the campus community.
