Last February 2022, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) along with the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) launched an app that can help Filipinos monitor such events.
The app aims to present data about hazards and events based on regional location, date and time of occurrence and other relevant information.
They were obtained from published reports of various technical and warning agencies in the country.
Included in the data are the following:
– Weather Situation
– Flood Advisory
– Dam Situation
– Earthquake and Tsunami
– Volcanic
– Incidents Monitored
The app can be downloaded from Google Play.
