Another earthquake hits Davao Oriental early this morning. The quake with a magnitude of 5.1 on the Richter Scale struck off the coast of Tarragona, Davao Oriental at 4:28 a.m.

According to PHIVOLCS the tremor registered a depth of 13 kilometers and is tectonic in origin.

A much stronger tremor occurred in almost the same area at 4:17 a.m. with a magnitude of 5.3

There were no damages reported and no aftershocks are expected.
