For our followers in the Bicol Region, Mayon Volcano is on alert level 2 as of today. This means that the volcano is on moderate level of unrest and that “sudden explosions, lava collapses, pyroclastic density currents or PDCs and ashfall can still occur and threaten areas in the upper to middle slopes of Mayon”. Those along the Permanent Danger Zone and also those on the Extended Danger Zone are off limits.
Please make preparations if necessary.
