West Valley Fault

At 7:03 this evening, a magnitude 4.4 earthquake was felt in the Cagayan province. It struck 60 kilometers northwest of Calayan town with a depth of 19 kilometers.

It was tectonic in origin according to Phivolcs. No damages and aftershocks are expected.
