The earthquake struck at 1:32 am this morning with a depth of kilometers and was determined to have occurred southeast of the town of Carmen.

The tremor was felt all the way to Kidapawan City in Cotabato. According to PHILVOLCS it will not cause any damage or aftershock.

Last year a magnitude 7.1 earthquake occurred in Davao Oriental.
